DFP Chairman, Johnson Boston The Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) has joined the International community in mourning the death of the Queen who died on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the age of 96.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Johnson Boston, the DFP extends “deepest sympathy to King Charles the III and the entire Royal family,” the government and people of the United Kingdom as well as the government and peoples throughout the Commonwealth of Nations, and the International community.
“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II devoted her entire life to the public service of her country and people, which provided Britain with stability and strength. Her Majesty will be remembered for her long and steady service to humanity, as well as a force for unity and charity throughout the whole,” the DFP writes in its statement.
“The Dominica Freedom Party also takes this opportunity to congratulate King Charles the III in his new role as King and on his ascension to the throne, and as head of the Unity Kingdom and the Commonwealth of nations. We wish King Charles the III well during his reign,” the release further states.
